Fowler & Hammer NewsApril 7, 2009 - Fowler & Hammer, Inc. chosen for historic renovation and LEED Certification of Stukins Building. Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center has partnered with Fowler & Hammer, Inc. to renovate the century old Stukins building. Work has begun on the Stukins building located at the intersection of South Avenue and Greenbay Street in La Crosse. The approximately 26,500 square foot building was originally constructed in the 1890's.The renovation will preserve the turn of the century look of the building while at the same time, earn LEED certification. There are also plans to construct an addition of 2,500 square feet to the building. When completed, the building will serve as a data center for Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Chris Huston - Vice President of Design/Build is the Project Manager and Scott Murphy is the Superintendent. |
