Compared to more traditional stud mounting techniques which often involve pre-punching, drillings, thread cutting, screw connection, stick welding, threaded inserts, etc., stud welding is known to be a technology which allows us to work more efficiently while at the same time, providing a high-quality attachment point that is secure, resists breaking or loosening, and forms a bond that is stronger than the surrounding metal. Stud welding is a complete fastening system which uses a wide variety of fasteners with literally hundreds of uses from bridge beams to composite decks. Each stud is permanently installed by one man, working on one side of the work piece, producing welds in as little as 0.06 of a second. Thus, stud welding is an economical fastening method for many sectors of industry.
