Fowler & Hammer Safety Fowler and Hammer is committed to creating a safe work site
for our employees, subcontractors, clients, and general public on all of our
construction projects. We have
developed a written comprehensive safety program, the purpose of which is to
identify hazards inherent in the construction process and eliminate them through
pre-planning, safety engineering and continuous training of our employees and
subcontractors.Pre-Planning:
The safety director, project managers, superintendents and subcontractors are
all involved in the pre-planning process before construction begins and during
the construction process as needed. This combined effort helps us identify
potential safety concerns before they arise and allows us to proceed with our
construction projects in the safest manner possible.
Engineering Practices:
Good safety engineering practices are another important
step of Fowler and Hammer’s safety program. We are dedicated to providing our employees with the most effective
safety equipment. We are
continually studying new technology and advanced safety practices to create a
safer, friendlier work environment.
Training:
Fowler and Hammer consistently trains its
employees through regular toolbox talks, onsite training sessions provided by the Associated General
Contractors of Wisconsin, a weekly employee newsletter, and formal classroom training. Training is essential
to promote safety awareness and develop the ability to identify safety hazards and choose the best safety
practices to employ.
At Fowler and Hammer, we take great pride in our proactive safety program. It is our goal to continually expand
and improve our safety program to provide the finest construction services to our clients in the safest manner possible.
