The Grand Clean Up was a smashing success today! Thank you to the 135 or so Volunteers who showed up throughout the day! Lots of trash was removed, Graffiti was removed Buckthorn was pulled. You are all Rad and should be super proud of your contribution to our community!
#Trashbash also thank you to City of La Crosse – Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department Fowler & Hammer, Inc. for safety supplies Ace of La Crosse for the pressure washer, Viterbo University Students, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Students 7 Rivers Community High School Students, Mario Youakim from Beer By Bike Brigade for serving an awesome lunch, the local Climbers, Wild Onion Outdoors, LLC, Klean Kanteen for the sweet cups, Harter’s Quick Clean Up for the dumpster, and thank you to Josh Miner for dialing in all the food options to this event off! The bluffs are definitely a better place today!
Planning for a second clean-up project with Fowler & Hammer, Inc. involving large waste items and heavy equipment is underway and will be completed in 2019.
