Construction of a 30′ wide “living/green wall” has been completed within the new Western Technical College Integrated Tech Center. The wall includes 465 trays housing 3930 individual plants designed and arranged on a 24′ vertical wall.
The plants are irrigated through an efficient water recirculating/drip irrigation system. 16 LED grow light panels along with strategic skylighting provide ample lighting.
The design/plant pattern consists of Philodendron Cordatum, Neon Pothos, White Butterfly Nepthytis, Schefflera ‘Luseane’, and Ficus Elastica Burgundy.
