Fowler and Hammer donated extension ladders, compressors, nail guns and safety glasses to the School District of La Crosse Construction Career Academy at Central High School this past month.
Eleventh- and 12th-grade students who sign up for the academy will take three construction related classes each year, in addition to their standard courses. The program is part of the district’s effort to give students a head start in the work world.
