Fowler and Hammer, Inc. is proud to be donating time and resources to the Place of Grace Kitchen Remodel project in La Crosse, WI.
They have been operating since 1996 and serve between 125 to 175 meals along with 15 to 30 food packages from their food pantry weekly. A Place of Grace serves women, children, single adults and families and is devoted to helping the Hood Street neighborhood and those who live there. Their members have also dedicated themselves to helping with the unskilled labor portions of this project.
Place of Grace was also given a grant from the La Crosse Community Foundation to help fund a portion of this remodel. The goal of the remodel is to give Place of Grace a safer, cleaner food preparation and serving area for their guests. Their goal is to remain a presence of hope and hospitality for the poor, lonely and marginalized people of our community. We are proud to be able to contribute to this worthy cause.
